Mindful Photography Workshop
About this Event
What To Expect:
This workshop brings together photography and mindfulness as a way of exploring connection, presence, and creative expression. Through a series of simple exercises, participants are invited to slow down, engage more deeply with their surroundings, and use the camera as a tool for observation, self-expression, and fresh perspective.
After a short introduction, we will head out for a photo walk before returning to Sketchy Beats for a relaxed conversation, sharing what caught our attention and the images that emerged from the experience. Expect a gentle and welcoming session in a friendly, supportive environment. No previous photography experience or specialist equipment is required—a mobile phone camera is more than enough.
Artist Bio:
After studying photography, Ines spent over 20 years working as a professional photographer. During a period of significant life change, mindfulness became an important part of her life, helping her reconnect with the present moment. Over time, photography evolved from a profession into a contemplative practice—a way of exploring attention, creativity, and connection. This journey led to the creation of Seeing The Now, where Ines combines photography and mindfulness through workshops that encourage people to slow down, notice more deeply, and see the world with fresh eyes.
