Jennifer Pessima of Jennifer Pessima Productions is an Atlanta-based film director, producer, and writer dedicated to purpose-driven storytelling. As the founder of her own production company, she has created impactful films and series, including The Despaired on BET+ and This is Thirties on Tubi. Known for bold, narrative-driven content, she continues to shape independent cinema with God as the captain of her ship.
Dennis Dortch is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and entrepreneur known for co-founding BLACK & SEXY TV, a digital streaming network for Black audiences. He gained widespread recognition with his acclaimed 2008 indie feature debut, A Good Day to Be Black & Sexy, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and grew with a collective of artist like Lena Waithe and Issa Rae that are proof of the need to create and Hollywood will recognize.
