On Saturday, May 30th, join us and incredible local veteran Garry McCracken to raise funds for Wounded Warriors Canada. This May, Garry will set out on a 2,700-kilometre, fully unsupported bicycle ride from Vancouver to Winnipeg for his 75th birthday to raise funds and awareness. This fundraiser is held during the ride, on his way East from Vancouver.
Every dollar raised helps Wounded Warriors provide life-changing mental health support to veterans, first responders, and their families.
The details:
• This event is open to the public, with a suggested $10 donation
• We will have live music by musician Poppa Dawg
• Every donation will enter you to win a door prize
• To help raise additional funds, we’ll host a 50/50 draw, be serving burgers as a feature, and $2 from every cider glass & burger sold during the event will be donated to Wounded Warriors Canada.
Come by for a cider, grab a burger, meet Garry, and help support an organization doing incredible work.
