Tired of culture connections mediated by a screen? Ready for some authentic entertainment based on humanity's oldest traditions?
We gather around a fire on the fourth Friday evenings of June, July and August to hear and tell stories, poems and songs . If rain threatens, fear not! We can move inside the observatory building.
Bring a chair and participate as a listener or as a "teller" with a memorized story or poem. We always have a musical guest to provide an interlude or two. This year's performers are:
June 26 - Old/New Timey musician Burt Bach
July 24 - Multi-instrumentalist Michele Venegas
August 28 - Jeremy Kamps, tenor
