Join us for a special night with TWO bands to kick off the 2026 Riverwalk Festival!5pm Band: The Nuance
The Nuance is a professional rock band based in Lowell, Michigan. The group was established in 2020 by singer-songwriter Case Sheldon and guitarist Caiden Hinzmann, later joined by their close friends Connor McLane, Patrick Kargl, and Nathan Emerson. The Nuance excels in their live performances, playing mostly covers and some originals that showcase their signature poppy sound. From classic rock standards by Skynyrd and Tom Petty, to 90s hits by Stone Temple Pilots and The Black Crowes, to alt-rock staples by Jet and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to modern-day country favorites by Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, and so much more, The Nuance is sure to have something in store for all audiences to enjoy.

Get ready to turn up the heat because **Simply In Time** is the ultimate funky, groove-based, soulfusion party machine straight out of Grand Rapids, Michigan! Born from the wild creative sparks of Robb
Hughes, Eric Nollet, and Steve Boersma, this powerhouse band exploded from basement jams into a fullon force of nature, blending killer covers and smokin’ mash-ups for non-stop dance-floor magic.

About the Concert Series:
The Lowell Showboat Sizzlin' Summer Concerts are presented by Lowell Arts and the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. Thursday evening concerts begin at 7:00pm along the Flat River on the Riverwalk Plaza (113 Riverwalk, Lowell, MI 49331) in downtown Lowell. Concerts are family-friendly and wheelchair accessible. Bleacher seating is available or bring a chair. Admission to the concerts and parking are free.
Concerts are held all summer long through August 13. An additional concert is scheduled for Friday, July 10 for the Riverwalk Festival. No concert on August 6 instead enjoy the Kent County Youth Fair in Lowell.
Enjoy Lowell’s Social District for your adult beverages. Concessions also available for purchase by the Lowell Area Historical Museum, B.C. Pizza, and Flavorwave shaved ice by Kona Ice of Lowell.
