Join our efforts in helping to preserve and restore our local waterways here in Frederick county! Volunteers are needed to help us pick up the trash and debris around Pine Cliff park, and the Monocacy river. Together, we can help make a difference for the greater good of all!WHAT TO BRING
Dress appropriate for the weather. Boots are recommended. You are welcome to bring your own snacks or beverages if you want.
WHAT IS PROVIDED
Our organization will provide trash bags, gloves, trash poker sticks, and bottle waters.
TIME FRAME
We are averaging a 2 hour event, but any amount of time you can give, we are grateful for. If you can only stay 10 minutes, we will take it!
BAD WEATHER
If bad weather does occur, we will reschedule for the following weekend the 19th.
This event is welcome to children of all ages!! In fact, we would love for children to be there helping to learn about the devastation that humans can cause, but also the empathy of the loving humans that help to clean it up.
It is only because of our volunteers that we are able to make a difference. Our gratitude is immense for every single one of you!!! Hope to see you there.
