Rising Vibes provides the ultimate platform for College Bands and Artists to create, perform and enhance their own original music.Four times a year, at the end of each term, the Wright Family Foundation and the Mauao Performing Arts Centre present Rising Vibes. Taking place at TOTARA ST, the home of live music and entertainment in the Bay, everyone is welcome to attend, doors open at 4pm and entry is free of charge. Rising Vibes is a community based project with the aim to support and nurture upcoming talent from around the Bay of Plenty region.
The following schools are involved in the initiative and various acts from these schools perform throughout the year:
Mount Maunganui College
Pāpāmoa College
Bethlehem College
Ōtūmoetai College
Tauranga Girls' College
Tauranga Boys' College
