Celebrate the creativity of Southeastern North Carolina’s young artists during the opening weekend of the Rising Stars student art exhibition at Cameron Art Museum. This month-long exhibition, organized in collaboration with schools across an eight-county radius, showcases the exceptional talent of high school students and highlights the promise of the newest generation of artists.
Rising Stars reflects the museum’s commitment to supporting young artists and engaging the broader community in the creative process. Don’t miss this opportunity to honor the region’s emerging talent and explore their inspiring work!
Participating students and their families can enjoy free museum admission on Saturday and Sunday. Also, CAM’s Education Team will offer free gallery tours and activities on opening weekend for participants. Tours for participating families, and students will be held from 11AM-2PM on Saturday, February 1st. Additionally, students can stop by the Collaboration Station to create and exchange Artist Trading Cards with their peers, fostering connections and celebrating artistic community.
