A 2-hour get-together to start doing something!Let’s talk about our skills, where in Redruth needs a bit of love, and what’s getting in the way of getting things sorted.
We need to be realistic; some places are going to take time. They’re owned by someone or need permissions, so we’ll look at the first sensible steps and who’s happy to help keep things moving.
We’ll also look at things people can get involved in straight away, alongside the longer-term work. That might be hands-on stuff like clean-ups, painting or gardening; but it also includes organising, coordinating, research, admin, and keeping people connected. We’re not just looking for people to do physical work; there are lots of different roles.
There’s no pressure to have all the answers. This is about finding your place in something and not having to do it on your own.
And, bonus; there’ll be tea and biscuits ☕🍪
