A residency series is one featuring a special out-of-town guest instructor. This is your invite to join us this February in Iowa for an exclusive residency series featuring Iowa's own Verity Rose & a very special guest all the way from Rio de Janeiro—Fernando!

🕺🏻 ABOUT FERNANDO
Fernando is Brazilian and currently lives in Rio de Janeiro. A dancer for 28 years and a Brazilian Zouk teacher for 15 years!!! He graduated from Núcleo de Dança Renata Peçanha, where he taught classes for 8 years 🤩 He's been a featured artists at several events throughout Brazil and internationally, bringing his energy and experiences of Brazilian Zouk and Samba de Gafieira 💛💚💙 His energy is amazing, and we can't wait to introduce him to the Iowa community! Join us February for this very special series. ♥
Did you know? Fernando Martins is Iowa's very own resident artist Gabriel's teacher and good friend!
🌹 ABOUT VERITY ROSE
Teacher, dancer and event organizer, Verity Rose has been dancing since age 3. She teaches in Iowa City, Des Moines, Fairfield, and has been a featured artist at Zouksgiving, Chi-Town World Dance Congress, and more. She's excited to see and be part of the growth Iowa Zouk community!
