Anyen Rinpoche will be offering a major teaching this August that our sangha has been requesting for years: the essential Longchen Nyingthig text Treasury of Precious Qualities by Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa. Somehow we have cobbled together enough merit to have this request granted, and we are so pleased to announce that Anyen Rinpoche will begin teaching Volume One of this extraordinary text this summer at our annual Rigdzin Dupa Drupchod in August!

Online Teachings-Only Option:
---> It is very important to Anyen Rinpoche to teach the Vajrayana in person, and we encourage everyone who is able to join us in Denver to do so. The benefits of receiving these teachings in person and participating in Rigdzin Dupa tsok practice cannot be overstated. At the same time, we know that many students, particularly those newer to the lineage or living far away, simply won't be able to travel this summer. We don't want that to keep you from beginning this path. For that reason, Volume One will be available to stream live and to download afterward, so you can receive these foundational teachings wherever you are. (Please note this option will only be available for Volume One; see the description below.).
---> August 1-10, streaming live at 3pm MT (start time may be adjusted), and downloadable afterward to watch at your own pace. The full teaching includes 9 sessions of 2 to 2.5 hours each. If attending the full program in person is possible for you, it remains the most beneficial way to receive these teachings. If you'll be studying remotely, please show your interest by registering for that option now; your enthusiasm is what makes the streaming option possible. Tuition: $350 for the online series.

About The Teaching:
Jigme Lingpa’s Treasury of Precious Qualities is a concise yet comprehensive presentation of the Buddhist path according to the Nyingma school. Volume One covers the entire Sutrayana and lays the foundation for the teachings that come in Volume Two. It begins with essential teachings on impermanence, karma, and discipline. Then, from the Hinayana standpoint, it describes the essential Buddhist teachings of the Four Noble Truths and the Twelve Links of Dependent Arising. Finally, from the Mahayana perspective, it expounds fully the teachings on bodhichitta and the path of the six paramitas.
Volume Two includes the essential topics of Secret Mantra Vajrayana, including: lineage, empowerment, the generation and perfection stages, and samaya. It culminates with an explanation of the Great Perfection which is arranged according to the classification of Ground, Path, and Result. Volume Two must be received in person and will not be offered as an online option.
Take note that you must attend Volume One in its entirety to be eligible to register for Volume Two, and that these initial teachings will likely take a few years to complete.
About the practice:
Rigdzin Dupa, or “Gathering of Vidyadharas,” is a Longchen Nyingthig lineage practice which enables us to directly receive the blessings of Padmasambhava. Since the 2017 Drupchod, the sangha has been working extremely hard at mastering all of the skills needed to make the Drupchod a very special experience for everyone. We invite you to attend this very special retreat at our beautiful center in downtown Denver. The tradition of gathering vajra brothers and sisters together to practice in the style of a drupchod is unique to the Secret Mantrayana tradition. At a drupchod, a large number of lay and monastic Mantrayana practitioners gather together for a week or more to focus on reciting, practicing, and accomplishing one specific practice. This style of practice is said to be intensely more beneficial for a Mantrayana sangha than practicing alone. Traditionally, it is said not only to raise the blessings and realization of the sangha, but also said to promote peace within the local and global community, and act as a counter to negative forces and agitating energy.
Tuition Levels for Full Program :
$725- Bronze: Includes an offering to Rinpoche for the teachings, flowers/candles/zhalze on the shrine, Rinpoche and Allison’s meals and a contribution to the tsok offerings
$760- Silver: Includes all of the offerings of the bronze level, plus an extra contribution to make the tsok more elaborate
$800 - Gold: Includes all of the offerings of the silver level, plus an extra contributions to make the tsok even more elaborate
