Jen Hassloch never set out to become a writer. What began as helping to edit a manuscript gradually evolved into co-authoring an entire trilogy. Along the way she discovered that spotting problems in a story is very different from writing one.
Through successes, mistakes, rewrites and a great deal of tinkering, Jen learned how characters come alive on the page, how silence can be more powerful than dialogue, and why readers connect so strongly with fictional people.
Using “The Settlement” trilogy as a case study, she shares the lessons learned while finding her feet as a writer and developing a story across three books.
Jen will have “Resist: Battle for the Bluff” and “Revolt: Beyond the Devil’s Staircase” available for purchase. $40.00 each or both for $75.00 (cash only please).
