Workday at Richmond Hill – This Sunday!The time has finally come! WNCDGA is hosting a course workday at Richmond Hill this Sunday, September 21, at 10:00 AM. We need as many volunteers as possible to help us get the course ready for play.
Main tasks:
•Resetting and installing basket sleeves (about 16 were damaged by debris contractors)
•Light trimming and cleanup at various spots around the course
What to bring (if you have them):
•Post hole diggers, shovels, wheelbarrows
•Weedeaters, hedgers, loppers
•Work gloves
Don’t worry if you don’t have tools—there will be plenty to share.
Reminders:
•The park is still closed to the public, but reopening is on the horizon.
•The water fountain is a little unreliable—please bring water.
Perks:
•WNCDGA and The City of Asheville will provide most materials (with thanks to those who donated the rest).
•Help out for a while and there’s a good chance you’ll walk away with a CREW shirt—limited supply!
