Pilgrimage: A journey to a holy place that can lead to individual and collective transformation.On Sunday, September 21st, KPC will have its annual ALL-CHURCH PILGRIMAGE! This event has been carefully designed by Bob Wiliams as all-inclusive--that is, whether you're used to walking 5 miles (the entire walk) or .5 miles (a starting point near the church) or no miles at all, there's a place for you in our pilgrimage!
The route begins in the parking lot of Jones Elementary School on Kimberly. We'll gather there--those who'd like to walk the entire 5 miles to KPC--at 6:30am! If you'd like to walk a bit but not the whole 5 miles, there will be opportunities to join in: 7:15am at the corner of Edwin and Charlotte (near the UU Church), and 8:15am at Biscuit Head (Biltmore Ave). If you've no inclination to walk but would like to be part of the festive event (which includes breakfast), just meet us at KPC around 9am. There we'll all be gifted with a "pilgrim's breakfast" and a celebration of our literal and figurative journey together.
A SIGN-UP SHEET IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE KPC SANCTUARY--PLEASE SIGN UP SO THAT WE CAN ANTICIPATE NUMBERS OF WALKERS AND OF BREAKFAST TAKERS!
