RIBA Somerset Festive Mixer and talk with Piers Taylor

Join RIBA Somerset at the Museum of Somerset in Taunton to welcome in the festive season with friends and peers in the built environment.

Piers Taylor is our special guest who will be talking about 'Work in Progress'. There will be plenty of time for questions and conversation if there has always been something you have wanted to ask him!

Afterwards the space is ours to enjoy the special atmosphere, have a drink and a bite to eat.

The ticket includes a free drink and delicious winter buffet of local fare.

About Piers Taylor

Dr Piers Taylor is an Architect and is Professor of Knowledge Exchange in Architecture at UWE. He is founder of Invisible Studio, a multi-award-winning international architecture practice, operating through collaboration, experimentation, research and education. The studio is interested in work that makes change, through a variety of means and his current research explores how architecture supports and makes tangible the actions that encourage a civil society.

Piers practice-based work includes numerous award-winning projects, including the National RIBA Award Winning Wolfson Tree Management Centre, Room 13, East Quay, Watchet and many others which have been widely and internationally published.

About Museum of Somerset

Housed in Taunton’s historic castle, the Museum of Somerset tells the county's story from prehistoric times to the present day in nine contemporary galleries.

The museum also hosts a rolling programme of temporary exhibitions.
