RIBA London Rooftop Sketching at AHMM

For this event we will be focusing on the skyline of the City of London. There will be a brief introduction where we will set a series of short briefs to frame the sketching. We will be asking participants to look at the city and to draw what interests them in a medium of their choice.
This will be followed by a ‘show and tell’ and a short discussion to talk about the drawings and styles. The event is aimed at people of all abilities; young, old, complete beginners, those wanting to hone their urban sketching skills and to pick up new techniques as well as seasoned professionals.
Bring your favourite sketch book, pens, pencils and paints. There will also be a selection of materials available for those wanting to experiment with something new.
There will be opportunities for networking and discussion, as well as and drinks and refreshments.
Please note that as it is a rooftop space, we won't be able to accommodate children or pets due to safety reasons. There is a no-smoking / vaping policy that covers the whole building including the roof.
