About this Event

Topic: Sustainable Architecture; Design, Construction & Technology
Hours: 2
Presenter: Katie Clemence Jackson, Ingrid Berkeley

This session will provide attendees with an update on the progress of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard, including key findings from the Pilot Testing Programme and an introduction to Version 1, launched in March 2026.

Our presenters, Katie Clemence and Ingrid Berkeley, will explore how architects and building services engineers can continue to support the Standard, outline how the verification process will work in practice, and highlight the key differences between this and the Scottish Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard - clarifying common misconceptions along the way.

We will also be joined by an early adopter, who will share lessons learned from a recent project, before concluding with a panel Q&A chaired by Zoe Black and Sarah Peterson.

Breakfast included in ticket price.

We hope to see you for what promises to be a fantastic morning of discussion and networking!
