About this Event
Alex has been exploring the world of percussion since 2008, playing a wide range of instruments and travelling to Senegal to learn from traditional African Griots. Along the way, he's attended drum camps across the UK, discovering rhythms, percussion styles, and dance traditions from cultures around the world.
For this hands-on workshop, he’ll bring along a variety of drums and percussion instruments for everyone to try. Together, we’ll create and play one or two exciting rhythms as a group. No experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm, be able to count 1-2-3-4, and enjoy making music with others!
