The Reykjavík Pride Parade 2026 — one of the most extraordinary Pride events in the world! The parade takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, starting promptly at 2:00 PM from Hallgrímskirkja, Reykjavík's iconic landmark church. The route proceeds down Skólavörðustígur, Bankastræti, Lækjargata, and Fríkirkjuvegur, ending at the intersection of Fríkirkjuvegur and Skothúsvegur, with participants continuing along Sóleyjargata into Hljómskálagarður park for an outdoor concert. Reykjavík Pride (Hinsegin dagar) runs August 4–9, 2026 and is famous for attracting a remarkable share of Iceland's entire population — making it one of the most celebrated Pride events per capita in the world.
