Revive Refresh

Revive Refresh is a chance for families affected by disabilities to break from their regular routine and have a few hours to rest. We will provide an opportunity once a month for families to drop off their kids for a fun time at church. Revive Refresh will be a time where VIP kids and their siblings ages 3-17 have FUN, make new friendships, worship, listen to a Gospel message, play games, and more! Meanwhile, parents get a needed 2-3 hour break from their ongoing caregiving responsibilities on a Saturday afternoon.

OUR WHY | We know parents and caregivers desire what's best for their loved ones who have special needs, often at the expense of their own mental and physical health. Raising or caring for a child or an adult with a disability follows many joys, but unquestionably can be challenging and, occasionally exhausting. Many parents and caregivers disregard their own partners, friends, hobbies, and physical and mental health, to solely focus on their child. Opportunities to get a break are rare and yet desperately needed for parents and caregivers to survive. As the church, we aim to meet the needs of our families as they lean on us to carry their burdens so that they can get refreshed.
