Overview
Join the King County Women’s Advisory Board (WAB) for a stakeholder meeting to review and discuss its draft recommendations related to aging.
This session will bring together community members, partners, and stakeholders to share perspectives and engage in a thoughtful discussion on considerations impacting women as they age in King County. The Advisory Board will provide an overview of its current work and invite input to help inform ongoing refinement of these recommendations.
This meeting is intended to support inclusive dialogue and information sharing. Participation offers an opportunity to contribute perspectives, highlight community priorities, and connect with others engaged in advancing equitable and supportive systems for older adults.
All interested individuals—including community members, service providers, advocates, and partners—are welcome to attend.
What to Expect:
- Overview of the Women’s Advisory Board’s draft recommendations on aging
- Facilitated discussion to gather stakeholder perspectives
- Opportunities to share feedback and lived experiences (voluntary)
- Time for connection and informal networking with attendees
- Light refreshments will be served for in-person attendees
