Dama Gallery and Pacific + Main invite the community to celebrate fifteen years of creativity, collaboration, and contemporary art with REVELRY, a landmark anniversary exhibition and building-wide celebration on Saturday, August 15, in Midtown Ventura.
Presented by Dama Gallery, REVELRY is a milestone group exhibition bringing together an expansive, multidisciplinary body of work spanning painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, and installation. The show unites a new generation of contemporary artists recently welcomed into the gallery's roster with a curated selection of works by longtime gallery favorites — artists whose practices have shaped Dama Gallery's identity and evolved alongside it over the past decade and a half. Presented together, the exhibition traces a throughline across fifteen years of curatorial vision: a commitment to bold, boundary-pushing work that is as visually diverse as it is conceptually rigorous.
REVELRY is both a retrospective gesture and a forward-looking statement — an exhibition that honors the artists and relationships that have defined Dama Gallery's history while spotlighting the emerging voices poised to define its next chapter. Together, the works on view reflect fifteen years of thoughtful curation, artistic risk-taking, and an unwavering commitment to championing artists across every stage of their careers.
The free, all-ages celebration extends throughout the historic Pacific + Main Building, a restored 1930s landmark that has become one of Ventura's premier creative destinations. Visitors are invited to explore open artist studios, experience the exhibition, enjoy live music, local food vendors, raffle prizes, and a community silent art auction featuring original artwork with select opening bids starting at just $1.
Guests can also purchase tickets for a special craft beer tasting benefiting A.I.M. Entrepreneurial Academy, Inc., a Ventura-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering young adults through entrepreneurship, business education, and life skills.
Founded in 2011, Dama Gallery has organized hundreds of contemporary art exhibitions while expanding its programming from Ventura into Los Angeles, Mexico City, Austin, and beyond. Over the same fifteen years, Pacific + Main has evolved from a once-vacant warehouse into a vibrant hub where artists, entrepreneurs, and the community come together to create, collaborate, and celebrate Ventura's thriving creative culture.
