Retro Cestrian Bard special train to Stratford

For many years, MCRUA was known for organising special excursion trains from Mid Cheshire stations to distant destinations that were hard to reach by service train. We're delighted to say that we can offer this once again, with a special train to Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday 22nd August this year. This will be operated by Retro Railtours who have agreed a 15% discount for MCRUA members (more than enough to cover the cost of membership). The train will call at Stalybridge, Reddish South, Stockport, Altrincham, Knutsford, Northwich and Chester, then travel to Stratford via Shrewsbury. Return is via Hereford.
