RethinkWaste Green Team Celebration 2026

Overview

Celebrate and learn about the important work of green teams in San Mateo County! RethinkWaste is hosting its fourth annual end-of-the-year bash at the San Mateo Garden Center for all students involved in or interested in “green” activities from local schools. Families, friends, and teachers are welcome to join!

There will be presentations from local environmental clubs and green teams, along with food, games, crafts, and opportunities to win prizes.

We hope we can use this collaborative space to share knowledge and recognize the environmentally-focused efforts of students. We are so grateful for their dedication and for the commitment of their adult leadership and volunteers!

There is no-cost to attend and all ages are welcome. Free parking is available at the venue and carpooling is highly encouraged. All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. You are NOT required to stay for the full duration of the event.

Registration is highly encouraged – limited number of walk-in spots will be available the day of the event.
