About this Event
Please note: To join this workshop you or your business needs to reside within one of the following GM local authorities: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Manchester, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside or Trafford, Wigan.
You also need to be: The owner of a business OR an aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea you want to develop.
To ensure we have the correct information, please fill out the Generator Registration Form, or bring one of the following forms of identification with you to the workshop:
- Your National Insurance (NI) number – if you have not yet registered a business
- Your Companies House registration number or Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) – if you have registered a company with Companies House or are self-employed/sole trader registered with HMRC
Kindly note that we may not be able to admit you to the workshop without this information, so we strongly encourage you to have it ready on the day.

Rethinking Burnout:
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Understand the different drivers of burnout (beyond just workload)
- Identify their Personal Operating System (energy, pace, processing style)
- Gain clarity on what currently drains vs supports them in their work
- Define 2–3 core needs required for them to function sustainably
- Identify and design “containers" (system, boundary, or support structure) they can implement immediately
- Leave with a personalised framework they can continue to apply beyond the session

Part 2: Mapping Your Personal Operating System
Guided worksheet to help participants understand how they naturally operate
Part 3: Identifying Your Needs
Clarifying what individuals require to work well and sustainably

Translating insight into action through systems, boundaries, and support structures
Part 5: Integration & Application
Participants define immediate next steps and practical changes they will implement
