When pain shows up “down there,” it can feel confusing, overwhelming, and isolating. It’s not always easy to talk about pelvic pain—but relief is possible.Pelvic pain can show up in many ways: cramping in the low belly during your menstrual cycle, nagging groin pain during pregnancy, pain with endometriosis, pain going to the bathroom, tailbone or low back pain, and even pain with intimacy. When these symptoms linger, it can start to feel like your body is working against you.
In yoga, the pelvic floor is considered your base of support—physically and emotionally. So when pain shows up in the pelvis, it’s common to feel unsettled, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Yoga therapy offers gentle, effective practices that help you restore a sense of grounded support while easing pelvic pain through movement, breathing, relaxation, and meditation.
In this 2-hour therapeutic workshop, you’ll experience yoga therapy practices specifically designed to reduce pelvic pain and help you feel supported in your body again. You’ll be guided through simple, targeted exercises to improve your brain–pelvic floor connection, calm irritated tissues, and reduce both current pain and future flares.
You’ll leave with a practical collection of tools you can use right away—so instead of feeling helpless during a flare, you’ll know what to do to support your body and address the root of your pelvic pain. This workshop is open to women of all ages and fitness levels and is designed to meet you where you are.
What you’ll learn in this workshop:
Basic pelvic floor anatomy so you finally understand where your pain is coming from and how to prevent it from returning
Simple, effective tools to address acute (sudden) or intense pelvic pain, so you feel confident managing flares when they arise
Therapeutic yoga-based movements to gently mobilize and strengthen your core and pelvic floor, helping you maintain a healthy, pain-free pelvis in yoga and daily life
Accessible breathing and meditation practices to improve the brain–pelvic floor connection, allowing you to recognize early warning signs and ease symptoms sooner
Comfortable restorative positions to relieve pelvic pain and support deep rest, so you can relax and sleep more comfortably through the night
Common pelvic pain symptoms that would benefit from this workshop:
Abdominal pain from menstrual cramps, endometriosis, past surgeries, bladder pain, IBS, and other digestive issues.
Vaginal pain related to pain with intimacy, vulvodynia/vaginismus, past surgeries, perineal tears from birth, pelvic prolapse, hormonal changes during menopause, and other issues.
