Rest to Rise is a monthly ecstatic dance and nurturing opportunity to pause, release and receive. Offered every 3rd Friday or occasionally, 3rd Thursday!
Movement and music is medicine.
✨This month’s event is on Thursday, August 20th, NOT Friday!✨
I will be at Wild Zen Yoga Fest from Friday, August 21-23rd offering 1:1 Integrative Reiki Sessions and Oracle Guidance!
I hope to see you there too!
The theme for this month’s dance is, One With All! Honoring our connection to nature and all beings of life. This is a collaboration with my sister, River Noel!
Flow :
• Opening Ceremony
• Embodiment Practice, connecting body and breath with the vibration of nature and love for all living beings.
• Ecstatic Dance with an intentionally curated playlist for intuitive journeying, authentic expression and energetic release.
• Group Meditation & Reiki with reiki-infused essential oil blends for integration and restoration.
• Closing Ceremony
Invitation to gather in community to set intentions both individually and collectively. We will invite the mind to slow down, drop into the body, then connect with music and your intentions through intuitive free-form movement, liberated self-expression, reiki meditation and authenticity.
About Ecstatic Dance:
Ecstatic Dance is intuitive movement with no choreography. An intentionally curated playlist creates a wave of 5 rhythms to facilitate journeying: flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical, and stillness. The intention is to form community connection as well as connection with one’s body, mind and soul.
About Reiki:
Reiki is Universal Life Force Energy that flows through all living beings. It is a Traditional Japanese Healing Technique that aims to serve the highest good of all. We will join hands and invite Reiki to aid us in the highest good, attune to the collective and individual energies, where tension and stagnant energy dwells. Invite and allow Reiki to work with your intention, your chakras, and your auric field to guide the flow of Life Force Energy throughout the body, the collective and beyond.
Guidelines:
- This is a substance free event and FSC is sober space. Please show up as you are.
- No photographs or video recording is permitted, unless the whole group consents.
- No verbal communication on the dance floor.
- You may dance with or interact with others during the dance but provide clear communication to say yes or no to engage with another. Honor what feels right for you!
- Have fun, respect the collective space and yourself and listen to your body!
*EVERYbody is welcome, regardless of ability. This event is a supportive space to move your body as much or as little as you'd like.
What to bring:
- dress for comfort and movement
- water bottle
- yoga mat
- blanket
- meditation cushion
- something for the alter (optional)
- journal (optional)

About the Facilitator:
I am Breah Marie Young, owner of Reiki Moon & Sol LLC. I am a mother, Wellness Practitioner and Coach, and full time Trauma Informed, Holistic Early Childhood Educator for Head Start, prioritizing trust, safety, social emotional development and engaging nervous system regulation techniques as play and fully integrated into my classrooms routine.
I am an intentional creator embracing nature, the elements, spiritual connection, authentic expression, intuitive movement, community, and play as medicine.
This Event is for you if you are seeking to :
- Strengthen connection between your physical, spiritual and energetic body.
