East Hills Summer Concert Series Ft. The Wild Honey Collective & Candid Antics

The East Hills Summer Concert series is a once-per-month outdoor music event set to take place in Cherry Park (725 Cherry St. SE). All four nights of this family-friendly series are free to the community and will showcase vibrant local music and community organizers the third Thursday of the month: May, June, July and August!
Drinks from Founders Brewing Co., Ritual Wines, Vivant, and Global Infusion will be available for purchase with sales benefiting the East Hills Council of Neighbors.
This year’s local music lineup will showcase a number of diverse genres!
THIS MONTH:
The Wild Honey Collective formed in the summer of 2020 to perform original songs and traditional American folk music. The rootsy and unassuming beginning of the band led to the immediate recording of the 2021 The Wild Honey Collective: Volume 1 full-length debut album, which Local Spins described as having “its feet firmly rooted in classic country and folk while daring to allow its head to explore the technicolor clouds of psychedelia.”
Our headlining act, Candid Antics is a six-piece fusion band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Coining the term “party-fusion”, their music draws from the traditions of the golden era of fusion and brings it into the modern age with unparralleled energy. The band formed organically through the jam/open mic scene in Grand Rapids. After playing together without structure for almost a year, they finally called upon each other to start something more official and the six founding members began the candid journey. Playing their first show January of 2023, they haven’t looked back as they began gaining local popularity and eventually nationwide recognition. Currently their debut album “Sounds Like Music” is their most recent publication with plans for many more on the way.
