James is the Managing Director of Off Mains Solutions, a specialist
off mains drainage company operating UK wide. He has been in the
drainage industry for 25 years.

James provides external CPD training to instructing clients and other
industry specialists such as building surveyors, conveyancers, land
managers and estate agents.


Latest updates for residential and commercial conveyancers with Ian Quayle

Two three hour CPD sessions - residential update in the morning and commercial update in the afternoon. Both sessions are suitable for conveyancers of all levels and experience.

Extensive notes will be provided and there will be time allocated for delegate questions

Half day and full day tickets available. Lunch and refreshments are included.


Residential Conveyancing CPD Update AM:

· Reviewing the retainer and report on title - what should be included.

· The revised TA6 and TA7 advising the seller and buyer client and dealing with the explanatory notes.

· Advising on restrictive covenants and easements in residential transactions.

· The Renters Rights Act 2025 - key issues for conveyancers.

· Developments in leasehold conveyancing - BSA case law and the introduction of Commonhold.

· Lessons from recent case law.


Commercial Property CPD Update PM

· The High Street Rental Auction Process - what do commercial property lawyers need to know.

· The Building Safety Act 2022 - tips and traps for commercial property lawyers dealing with relevant and higher risk buildings.

· Reporting on Title in commercial transactions.

· Advising the seller and buyer on overage.

· Dealing with lease renewal - negotiating the terms of a new tenancy.

· Pre-tenancy and post tenancy occupation tips and traps.

· Lessons from recent case law.


Extensive notes will be provided and time allocated for delegate questions
