About this Event
Come along and see our researchers in action! We’re hosting small group tours showcasing the world-class research going on in the ARC. You’ll see behind the scenes and our researchers will explain the ground-breaking work they are doing. This time, we’ll be opening the doors to the Centre for Data Science and AI, as well as CeMi, the Centre for the Cellular Microenvironment. We hope to excite our next generation of thinkers and there may even be a lab coat in your size!
Our new Manager for the Centre for Data Science and AI, Sarah Henry says,
“You’ll hear about some of the latest research, in exciting areas such as how AI is helping to safeguard sensitive data and mitigating security threats and how AI is being used in healthcare to automate time-consuming data tasks and reduce the burden our NHS staff. You’ll also learn how AI can be used to model ecosystems, climate, and weather, and explore novel hardware to reduce AI’s power consumption, thereby paving the way for a sustainable future.”
