Research for All: Improving Paediatric Care

This event will explore paediatric research in practice, and showcase our collective efforts to build an inclusive, collaborative research culture. It is open to all staff groups involved in paediatric care across the Wessex region who are interested in learning more about research - no prior research experience required.

• Interactive workshops exploring what research is, how it’s delivered, and how you can get involved

• Insightful talks from patients and families who have participated in research and partnered with researchers

• Rapid-fire poster presentations highlighting current work

• An overview of available research funding opportunities
• A lively Dragon’s Den–style research idea pitch, with feedback from an expert panel

Have a question from practice, a problem you would love to solve, or an early-stage research idea? Our Dragon’s Den-style session invites participants to pitch their ideas to a friendly panel of experienced researchers and research leaders.

You will receive constructive feedback, practical advice and insight into how your idea could be developed and funded - no polished proposal required.

The event is free to attend, and lunch will be provided.
