About this Event

As part of Love Data Week 2026, the Research Data Alliance (RDA) is hosting an in-person event in Auckland, New Zealand to explore questions around Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Agentic AI, and its potential role in research workflows and data management practices.

Join us for the AI in Research Forum, where we’ll share insights from RDA’s recent global community consultation on agentic AI in research, hear from practitioners applying AI across research and data-sharing initiatives, and explore both the opportunities and challenges these technologies introduce across the research lifecycle.

Whether you’re a researcher, data professional, or institutional stakeholder curious about the evolving relationship between AI and data management, this session will provide perspectives from the research community on navigating these complex questions.
