About this Event

Join Us for Week 5 of the Heart to Heart Series: Sincerity Doing it for Allah, Not Applause.
The Heart to Heart Series continues by exploring one of the most essential qualities of the believer’s heart — sincerity (ikhlas) — and how it deepens our connection with Allah (swt) in every action we perform.

In this session, we will discuss what sincerity truly means, the barriers that prevent us from achieving it, and practical ways to ensure our deeds are done purely for Allah (swt). Through reflection and guidance, attendees will gain tools to nurture sincerity in worship and daily life, while learning from real-life experiences and interactive discussions.

Speakers:
Imam Abdullah Kalantan
Community imam, educator, and PhD researcher in Public Health.

Br. Wajahat Ibn Saadat Khan
An experienced public speaker and khateeb, Br. Wajahat has been sharing the Islamic tradition for over a decade, focusing on delivering reliable, relevant, and inspiring teachings. His discourse draws upon knowledge taken from his teachers, the timeless examples of the Prophet (saw), and his own life experiences as a traveller, husband, and father. Additionally, Br. Wajahat has worked closely with youth and recovering addicts over the years, providing pastoral support and mentorship through their challenges.
