Research Culture Cafe - Schools of Computer Science and Maths

As part of our institutional Research Culture Action Plan 2026-2030 we are offering schools the opportunity to host a research culture cafe. The Schools of Computer Science & Maths will host a first Research Culture Cafe on the 29th April from 1-3pm in rm. Light refreshments will be provided.

Culture cafes are designed for you and your colleagues and peers to talk about the challenges you face in your research environments and to raise awareness about the things that work best, reflect on what a better culture might look like, and propose solutions for how things might be.

This facilitated session will touch on a range of areas and experiences related to researchers, research support staff, and postgraduate student researchers.The session will be facilitated by the Research Culture team (Research Innovation Services), who will ensure a safe and respectful environment for all voices.
