Repair Cafe at the Old Stone House

Do you have a cherished lamp, small appliance, or article of clothing that needs a mend? Does your chair, guitar, or small furniture need a little fix to restore its former glory?

Don’t throw it out!

A group of mutual aid fixers will be available to work with you to fix your item at this community repair event, free of charge.

We’ll be working with people first-come first-served basis, and there’ll be a list at each repair station. You’ll be able to sign up and come back if there’s a few people ahead of you - we’ll do our best to keep your spot. When you register let us know any important details about the item that you’re hoping to work on.

In the case of good weather this event will be held outside on the patio, accessible directly from the sidewalk. In the case of rain, the event will be forced to move inside, up 18 steps with a railing on one side.

If it does rain, and you are hoping to repair a larger item, (like a bike, or chair) or if you have any accessibility needs, we can accommodate you by allowing you to meet with your repair person on the ground floor of Old Stone House. Please fill out the Google form so we can plan to accommodate you accordingly.
