Rep. Wasserman Schultz Cancer Survivorship Summit

Join breast cancer survivor U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her second Cancer Survivorship Summit that addresses life after diagnosis. The Summit will highlight gaps in survivorship care, discuss policy proposals, and provide national and Florida community-based resources and support services.

This in-person gathering brings together survivors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to share stories, support one another, and learn about the latest advancements in cancer survivorship. Discover strategies for managing physical and emotional well-being, hear inspiring testimonies, and connect with a community that understands your journey.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED. SEATING IS LIMITED. A TICKET DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SEAT. GUESTS WILL BE SEATED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. LOCATION PROVIDED UPON RSVP. WALK-INS ARE ABLE TO REGISTER ON-SITE.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Arrival Time: Doors open at 7:30a.m. for registration/check-in. Please have your Eventbrite Ticket/QR Code printed or available on your mobile device. The event will commence at 8:00am and end at 3:00pm.

Security: Attendees should expect airport-style security, meaning no large bags, umbrellas, signs, or backpacks, etc. will be allowed. Please be prepared to present a Government-Issued Photo ID if asked.

Registration: Only confirmed RSVPs will be granted access to the event. All Walk-ins are able to register onsite before entering the venue.

Food and Drink: There is food available for purchase nearby.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Summit will feature a keynote speaker, panel discussions, brief presentations, workshops, and a resource fair. The event also will host mobile vans available to provide services.

Presentations and Guest Speakers: The Summit will feature several presentations and guest speakers, each focused on a specific topic.

Resource Fair: The Summit will have a Resource Fair ongoing throughout the entire event. The purpose of the Fair is to provide survivors, their families and caregivers, and providers with relevant information about resources in the community, education and awareness, and opportunities for networking and further outreach.

Mobile Vans:The Summit will host mobile units providing services to attendees.

Workshops: The Summit will feature engaging workshops focusing on survivorship needs.
