The 9th annual Renaissance Fest is back with more entertainment and hands-on learning opportunities, including MS Forge Council demonstrating their skills of the art of forging metals, child-safe axe throwing, archery station, and encounters with the zoo's ambassador animals. Tickets are sold at the gate, and annual passes apply.
The 9th annual Renaissance Fest has been scheduled for February 22nd and 23rd at the Hattiesburg Zoo. “Renaissance Fest at the Hattiesburg Zoo is bigger than ever this year with more entertainment and hands-on learning opportunities to
enjoy,” said Jeremy Cumpton, Director of Conservation and Education. The cost for Renaissance Fest is $12 for adults and $10 for children and takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.
Tickets for Renaissance Fest are sold at the gate, and annual passes do apply. Attraction tickets (Carousel and High Adventures Ropes Course) are sold separately. Renaissance Fest is brought to you by the Hattiesburg Zoo and Cerroneth. Guests are encouraged to wear Renaissance-period costumes. No real weapons are allowed at the Hattiesburg Zoo.
