Time: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (BST)

Subject: The Journey from Surviving to Living
Join us for an honest and empowering keyhole analogy exploring how history, culture and lived experiences continue to shape Black individuals, families and communities today.
We’ll dive into:
- The “strong Black woman/man” narrative and the masks we learn to wear,
- We explore intergenerational and inherited trauma,
- We discuss the mental health stigma within Black communities.
Through open conversations, we’ll also look at how migration, family separation, and our shared history continue to shape the Black diaspora and Commonwealth communities today.
It’s an opportunity to understand ourselves, connect with others and explore how we can break cycles, heal and move forward.
Come to connect. Come to learn. Come to be heard.
Celebrate our history. Understand our experiences. Shape what comes next.
