Remember Those Quiet Evenings
About this Event
Imagine a warehouse party... but instead of dancing, everyone is lying on the floor with blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags while listening to live ambient music
We are bringing it back! (Click to see the vibes from the last one we did)
Remember Those Quiet Evenings is a late-night communal listening experience centered around stillness, presence, and sound.
Saturday, July 11
8:00 PM – 11:30 PM
The evening begins with two hours of community and quiet connection. Sip herbal tea, enjoy farmers market bread with artisanal olive oil and flaky salt, nuts, fresh fruit, and settle into the space as ambient, new age, spiritual jazz, neo-classical, and other meditative records spin on vinyl.
You're invited to put away your phone for the evening, make yourself comfortable, and slowly sink into the atmosphere as the room naturally transitions into silence.
At 10:00 PM, the live performance begins: an immersive deep-listening experience featuring myself playing Tibetan brass singing bowls through a reverb pedal alongside chimes and nature sounds, accompanied by Romo (aka 1201770) on modular synth and Steve Pyne on effected guitar
Bring a blanket, pillow, or even a sleeping bag, and allow yourself to be carried by the lush & blissful sounds.
The secret DTLA Arts District warehouse location will be emailed to ticket holders on the morning of the event.
