You are invited to join the release of Geoffrey Breedwell’s newest book, Just Put the VHS in the Bag, Bro, with a special evening at Indy Reads community bookstore!
This relaxed, community-centered event will feature:
- A celebration of Geoffrey Breedwell’s latest work, Just Put the VHS in the Bag, Bro
- Time to connect with fellow readers and supporters of Indy Reads
- Book sales and signing opportunities
Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering Geoffrey’s work for the first time, all are welcome to come celebrate literature and local voices.
Just Put the VHS in the Bag, Bro
When a stolen device disguised as an old VHS tape threatens the entire planet, two high school burnout employees from a dusty video resale store in Hollywood, Indiana, are Earth’s last (and let’s be honest, worst) hope.
The rules are simple:

2.Save the world
3.Try not to die
With the Nibbarexian Empire’s royal armada orbiting Earth, a cartel on their trail, and a broken friendship weighing them down, Ethan Smith and Cruz Martinez have just three days to fix everything—or watch the world go boom.
Meet the Author: Geoffrey Breedwell
Geoffrey Breedwell is a submarine veteran and AuDHD writer with a BA from SNHU and an MDiv from Lipscomb University. He spends his off-hours skateboarding like it’s still 2006, channeling his inner punk rocker and surviving on energy drinks and chaotic giggles. Miraculously, his wife, two daughters, and dog haven’t staged an intervention (yet) in Central Indiana.
