Rejoice in the Lamb

Oshawa's acclaimed RESOUND Choir and special guests, the Orpheus Choir of Toronto, present what is sure to be Oshawa's classical music event of the year.

Over 100 singers will be joined by a professional orchestra, soloists and Shakuhachi Flutist Debbie Danbrook to present sparkling and genre-defying masterworks by UK composers. Benjamin Britten's raucous and whimsical Rejoice in the Lamb features dazzling orchestral colours and dramatic performances. Complementing this work is Karl Jenkins' intercultural Requiem, performed with stunning Japanese poetry and traditional Japanese instruments, making this piece unlike any other choral masterwork.
