If you are a local charity leader, social entrepreneur, faith leader, community activist, headteacher, healthcare specialist, or anyone who cares about the transformation of local neighbourhoods - this is the conference for you.

Through a series of thought-provoking sessions, we will explore:

• Community leadership and entrepreneurship – what are the challenges and opportunities in communities and how do we grow the leadership skills required?

• Partnerships and networks – how do we build strong and effective collations – schools, healthcare settings, youth work agencies, faith groups, local charities, housing associations, and many others?

• Oasis’ model of community development – learning from Oasis’ 40 years of integrated work – joining together education, youth and community work, housing provision, youth justice, and much more.

• Key aspects of community building – how do we build power, agency, and belonging in communities, doing things ‘with and alongside’ people, rather than ‘to’ or ‘for’ them?

• System change and sustainability – how do we build sustainability, pioneer new ideas, and lead change so that communities thrive?
