Reiki Level One is the perfect first step into the world of energy healing. This two-day course is designed to open you to Reiki’s universal life force energy, supporting your personal wellbeing while giving you the tools to share healing with friends, family, animals, and your everyday environment.

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful form of energy healing that works with the body’s natural ability to restore balance. It recognises us as complete energy systems connected to universal life force energy. When that flow is disrupted, we can feel stress, disharmony, or even illness.

As a Reiki practitioner, you become a channel for this energy, encouraging deep relaxation, emotional release, and natural healing.

The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words “Rei” (universal) and “Ki” (life force energy) — the essence of vitality that flows through all living things.

Reiki training is offered in four levels:

• Level 1 – Foundations: learn to heal yourself, friends & family
• Level 2 – Practitioner: qualify to practice professionally
• Level 3 – Master Practitioner: deepen your knowledge and connection
• Level 4 – Teacher: learn to pass Reiki attunements to others

✨ Level One is where it all begins — no previous healing experience is required. This course is about your own healing journey, while also giving you the skills to bring balance to others.

Over two immersive days, you’ll be introduced to Reiki’s philosophy, history, and practice. Through attunements, guided exercises, and hands-on practice, you’ll gain the confidence to use Reiki in daily life.

You’ll explore:

• The human energy system: aura & chakras
• Reiki history, philosophy & spiritual principles
• Simple meditation & breath practices
• Reiki Principles
• Four Reiki attunements to activate the flow of energy
• How to 'tune into' Reiki & prepare a healing space
• The 12 hand positions for Reiki treatments
• How to conduct a Reiki self treatment
• How to give a Reiki treatment to family & friends
• Energy cleansing techniques
• Using Reiki with pets, plants & objects
• Sending Reiki to situations
• The 21-day self-clearing process

By the end of the weekend, you’ll have everything you need to begin practicing Reiki safely and effectively for yourself and loved ones.

Helen began her Reiki journey in 1999 and has since trained through to Master and Teacher level with respected international Reiki academies. With decades of experience in both personal and professional practice, Helen combines deep spiritual insight with a compassionate, grounded teaching style.

Her work is guided by the belief that Reiki helps us return to alignment with the spirit of life — releasing blocks to love and opening to a flow of healing, vitality, and peace. Alongside Reiki, Helen also works as a Creative Psychotherapist, specialising in self-compassion and forgiveness.
