The original intent of Sensei Mikao Usui, founder of the system of Reiki, was to devise a spiritual system that was approachable to many people. In this class you learn:
1. A brief history of the discovery of reiki
2. The five elements of reiki and how to apply them into a personal practice
3. Receive a reiki attunement
4. Practice the awareness of energy and how it can be harnessed for self-healing and energetic protection.
The intention of this class is for the participant to begin to be aware of energy and to develop a personal practice to strengthen the energetic body. This is not a certification to practice reiki on others.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring a packed lunch.
