Reiki Drum Journey and Sound Bath™ New Year's Eve

Join us at the quaint and charming Cooper Memorial Hall (West Calgary) for this soul-nourishing, sound bath event.

Our ambient atmosphere sets the stage for your meditative journey inward. Relax and settle in, as the frequencies and vibrations of sound are played in the hall and around your body, fully immersing you in this unique sensory experience, while the nurturing energy of reiki holds you in sacred space as you journey.

Bask in the deep and earthy rhythms of the Remo Bahia Buffalo Drum, the high vibrational frequencies of pure quartz frosted and alchemy Crystal Tones singing bowls, the mysterious tones of the stunning Desert Rose Grotta Sonora Deep Gong, the soothing night waves of the Remo Ocean Drum, the sparkling Zaphir chimes and the delicate and dreamy Song Pod.

We offer herbal tea and extra dark chocolate wafers as you ground and reflect upon your experience, and wrap up following the sound.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring water for hydration, a comfortable mat, a pillow, a blanket, an eye pillow and any other type of cozy-making gear (such as a bolster for leg support) to ensure your comfort as you rest on the floor during the session.

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to be settled for start time. Due to the immersive nature of this event, doors will not re-open once the event has started.

This event has been curated for those seeking quietude of self, stillness and inward reflection. Cell phone ring tones, general conversation and excess movement are quite disruptive during a sound bath experience, so we ask you to be mindful of these things during this event.

As special lighting and sound frequencies will be used, this offering is not recommended for people who are prone to seizures, have a heart condition, a pacemaker, hearing aids, metal rods or are pregnant or trying to conceive.
