The Marion County SWCD Demonstration Garden is located within the larger community Mayor’s Garden at West 56th and Reed Road, Indianapolis (map). It consists of 15 vegetable production beds, a native planting, and a compost area. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a separate group tour of the demonstration garden, please contact the SWCD. Walk south along Eagle Creek Trail on the Reed Road side (west) of the gardens to arrive at the SWCD garden (3 plots with signs, halfway down)

Be Prepared:
Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for the farm tour. This is a working garden. Expect uneven terrain, tall vegetation, and interaction with local flora and fauna. A portable restroom will be available on-site.
