Refugee Week Launch 2026: Courage at Home

Join us for the launch of Refugee Week 2026 as we come together to celebrate this year's theme, Courage at Home.

Hosted at Aspex Portsmouth on 15 June 2026 at 6:00 PM, this special evening will bring communities together to reflect on the meaning of home, belonging, and the courage it takes to build new lives and foster welcoming communities.

Through inspiring stories, creative performances, and community connections, the event will highlight the contributions, resilience, and experiences of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. Together, we will explore how acts of kindness, solidarity, and inclusion help create a sense of home for everyone.

Delivered in partnership with Portsmouth City of Sanctuary, Portsmouth City Council, Aspex Portsmouth, Crying out Loud, Fratton Together and Skate4Mates the launch event will mark the beginning of a week of activities celebrating diversity, culture, and the strength that comes from standing together.

Whether you are a long-standing supporter, a community member, or attending for the first time, we invite you to join us for an evening of inspiration, reflection, and celebration as we officially launch Refugee Week 2026.
