Refugee Week 2026: Employability Fair

This event is for everyone, no matter where you are in your journey of creating a home in Hackney. Whether you’re just starting out exploring the labour market or ready to take the next step into employment, we’re here to help you move forward.

Support you will be able to access:

• Meet ESOL, skills training, and adult learning providers

• Explore volunteering and apprenticeship opportunities

• Connect with local employers and employability support services

The event will run from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the North Atrium in Hackney Town Hall.

You do not need to show a ticket to enter the event, but we kindly request you reserve a ticket so that we can keep track of attendee numbers.

Accessing the venue:

To access the venue, enter the Town Hall on Mare Street and` let the front desk you are here for the employability fair. The North Atrium will be on the ground floor, straight through the main entrance hall. You will see signs for the event and support staff will be present to help you find your way around.

This venue is wheelchair friendly via the Mare Street entrance.
