About this Event

UPDATE - RESCHEDULED TO SEPT. 12th --Join us for an in-person bi-partisan event bringing together California families, advocates, public officials, subject matter experts, and 2026 candidates—including Attorney General candidate Michael Gates—to address how meaningful reform will actually be carried out.

General Admission is FREE.
Donations are appreciated to support this volunteer-led event.
RSVP required — space is limited.

Following the powerful conversations from Part One, on May 1st, to Part Two on SEPT. 12th, this Town Hall moves beyond identifying failures to focus on solutions, enforcement, and accountability.

Why Attend Part Two

This next-phase Townhall will focus on:

  • How reforms will be implemented and enforced
  • The role of the Attorney General, Governor, and local leadership
  • Oversight mechanisms and accountability structures
  • Ongoing and emerging investigations
  • Where state action ends—and federal oversight may be necessary

This is where solutions are tested—and commitments are made.

Key Topics

  • Enforcement of existing laws (including DV protections and child safety statutes)
  • Judicial accountability and oversight mechanisms
  • Transparency reforms (court access, recordings, public oversight)
  • Systemic funding structures and incentives
  • CPS reform and prevention failures
  • Equal access to representation and due process
  • The path forward for families currently impacted

Event Program

  • Speaker: National Safe Parents Organization

https://www.nationalsafeparents.org

Light bites and refreshments will be provided.

Part of a Two-Part Series
