Reflections & Refractions: Embracing Community Through Music & Connections

LOCATION: Tri-C Western Campus Theatre

On Saturday, April 19 at 4 p.m., Tri-C Western Campus Theatre will be the scene for an amazing collaboration between trumpet sensation Theresa May, featured in International Trumpet Guild's Journal, and as the lead musician for the National Touring Show, "Mourning [A] BLKstar."

As a leading touring musician, May has recently been featured in the "Broadway Sinfonietta for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" live score, and as part of the tour of "MJ The Musical."

Accompanying May at the piano will be regional star and outstanding collaborative pianist Megan Denman, with whom May has partnered for a number of performances in Northeast Ohio.

This performance will be unlike any other, with multimedia images, wonderful jazz and creative new compositions.
